Hindi umano haharangin ng pamahalaan ang anomang arrest warrants na posibleng ilalabas ng International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) kaugnay sa drug war case ng International Criminal Court’s (ICC).

Ipinaliwanag ni Justice Secretary Crispin Remulla, bagamat hindi na miyembro ng ICC ang bansa, bahagi pa rin ito ng Interpol na sila ang nangangasiwa sa worldwide police operation at crime control.

Pinangalanan sina Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, former Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Oscar Albayalde, former Criminal Investigation and Detection Group chief Romeo Caramat Jr., former National Police Commission commissioner Edilberto Leonardo, and former PNP Intelligence Officer Eleazar Mata bilang suspects ng Office of the Prosecutor ng ICC, na nag-iimbestiga sa brutal na anti-drug campaign ng Duterte administration.

Una rito, sinabi din ni Solicitor General Menardo Guevarra na hindi nila mapipigilan ang ICC na magsagawa ng imbestigasyon sa mga suspects sa drug war case.
