Ginaganap ngayon ang 3-day Medical First Responder Course ng Armed Forces of the Philippines at US Armed Force sa municipal gymnasium sa bayan ng Lal-lo, Cagayan.
Ayon sa 5th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, ipinakita ng mga partsipante ang culture of responsiveness sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng mga kritikal na interbensyon na nagliligtas ng buhay para sa mga casualty sa laban.
Kabilang sa mga nakilahok ang Civil Affairs Team of the 5th Civil-Military Operations Battalion, (5CMOBn), Forward Service Medical Company (FSMC) of the 5th Infantry Division, Field Training Unit (FTU), 17th Infantry Battalion (17IB), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Team, Department of Health (DOH ) Team, Lal-lo Rescue Team, Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines (MCNP) Team, International School of Asia and the Pacific (ISAP) Kalinga Squad at US counterparts.
Ipinakita sa pagsasanay ang kakayahan ng mga first responders sa pagtugon sa mga insidente ng mass casualty sa isang komprehensibo at maayos na pag-uugnayan .
Ang Medical First Responder Course ay bahagi ng Medical Activities sa nagpapatuloy na Balikatan 39-2024 sa pagitan ng Armed Forces of the Philippines at United States Armed Forces
