Inaprubahan ng Senate impeachment court ang pagpapalabas ng subpoena sa dalawang dating branch managers ng Land Bank of the Philippines na sina Violeta Constantino at Nenita Camposan upang humarap sa pagpapatuloy ng impeachment trial ni Vice President Sara Duterte sa Hulyo 29. Inanunsyo ito ni Senate impeachment court Presiding Officer Senator-Judge Francis “Chiz” Escudero sa ikasiyam na araw ng paglilitis.
Ayon kay House lead prosecutor at Batangas Representative Gerville Luistro, ihaharap muna si Constantino bago si Camposano bilang mga testigo kaugnay ng Article I ng Articles of Impeachment na tumatalakay sa umano’y maling paggamit ng P612.5 milyong confidential funds ng Office of the Vice President at Department of Education.
Sinabi naman ni Escudero na parehong pinaghahanda ng korte ang prosecution at defense para sa pagdinig sa Hulyo 29, dahil maaaring parehong humarap ang dalawang testigo sa naturang araw.
